Fig. 04Web Apps
Web app development.
A web app is software that runs in any browser, with nothing to install. People use it for dashboards, customer portals, booking and scheduling, inventory and order tracking, internal admin tools, and full SaaS products.
If you're running your business on tools that don't quite fit, a web app is custom software shaped around how you actually work — reachable from any phone, tablet, or computer with a login.
You work directly with the person writing the code. We scope the build tight, ship in weekly increments, and hand you something you can actually run your business on — not a prototype that needs another team to finish.

How we work
The process.
- 01
Scope
We map the workflow you're replacing and agree on exactly what gets built. You get a fixed price, quoted on a call — no open-ended retainer.
- 02
Design the data
Most web apps live or die on the data model. We get that right first, then design screens around it.
- 03
Build in weekly cycles
You see working software every week, not three months of silence. We adjust as real usage teaches us things.
- 04
Ship and hand over
We deploy to production, verify everything works, and hand you the code, the docs, and the keys.
Tools we reach for
The stack.
- Next.js
- React
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- PostgreSQL
- Supabase
- Vercel
When it's not the right call
If a no-code tool covers it, we'll point you there first. Airtable, Softr, or a well-built Notion setup can run a surprising amount of a business for a fraction of the cost. We only build custom when off-the-shelf genuinely can't do the job.
Questions
What people ask.
- How long does it take?
- Most builds land in a few weeks, not months. We scope tight on purpose. A focused internal tool is faster than a multi-role customer portal — we'll give you a real timeline in weeks once we know what you need.
- Do I own the code?
- Yes, fully. The repository is yours at handover — source code, database schema, and docs. No license fees, no lock-in, nothing held hostage.
- Can you maintain it after launch?
- We can, on a small monthly plan, or you can take it in-house — it's standard Next.js and Postgres, so any competent developer can pick it up. Your call.
- What does it cost?
- A fixed price, quoted on a call after we understand the scope. We don't bill by the hour, and we'll recommend the cheaper option when there is one.
